Home Sweet Home

I made it home! It's still the same around here, nothing new or different. More stores seem to be opening up, but other than that, it's good ol' Home!

Alex won't be here until early next week. He has been given the run around when it comes to his orders and what not, so he's just now finally getting the things he needs done. He found out yesterday that household goods and vehicle should take less than a month!!! Yay!

I also got us an apartment set up. I have a close family friend who is a property manager, so I went and saw her yesterday. Walked out with a lease and some keys. The apartment is small, probably smaller than our little on-base housing, but it's ours. One less thing to stress over. The place has brand new carpet, kitchen tile, bathroom tile, etc. The kitchen is pretty big, which is awesome! We got a two bedroom. We will have the office stuff in the second bedroom, as well as stuff for Alex's son. I'm debating about downsizing a bed for that room. We have a full in Hawaii being sent out, but I'm wondering if I should look into getting a twin size bed for him so he has more room for other stuff...Or even a cool Ikea bunkbed would be awesome!

I'm going over today to start moving boxes in and what not. I need my Dad's help getting all the big stuff over there, so hopefully we can do that tonight or tomorrow. I love the thought of having my bed back....My big comfy tall bed. Yes! I'm excited!

Headed to WalMart today with Ash so we can go get things I need for the apartment. Gotta love the need to spend money. My Grandma got me a gift card for WalMart which is awesome, since I need some new house stuff.
