Alex hasn't seen his orders yet, but he should have them any day according to OPS.
The weekend was spent fixing the brakes on the car, having a good bye dinner with Mal and Thayn, and having our own little goodbye date at the movies.
I did some fixing of my blog and pretty soon I will have a brand new "feature" on here. I can't wait to roll it out, but I just need to finish the last couple of things for it.
I'm getting more and more nervous about apartment hunting and of course job hunting. I'm also way too nervous over the movers coming to pack all our stuff. On Friday, much needed stress relief was delivered in the form of a government budget deal. Thank goodness. I took on way too much stress over that ordeal. We have enough in savings to get us by on our bills and necessities, but it wasn't enough to get us by AND move us to another state. Glad Congress decided to get things done. There are really some days I think I could/should be a politician. Then I realize how much I stress over political stuff without being in politics, and I really don't think I would survive.
Before I finish my short and pointless blog, I just want to share my favorite poem. I used to be obsessed with the movie "In Her Shoes" and the poem was featured on that movie. I love it so much!
"i carry your heart with me(i carry it in
my heart)i am never without it(anywhere
i go you go,my dear;and whatever is done
by only me is your doing,my darling)
i fear no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
i fear no fate(for you are my fate,my sweet)i want
no world(for beautiful you are my world,my true)
and it’s you are whatever a moon has always meant
and whatever a sun will always sing is you
here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows
higher than soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
i carry your heart(i carry it in my heart)"
