Ahhh...Monday!

So, my Mom and Baby Brother get here to Hawaii today. I can't wait to see them! It's been over a year since the last time we were able to visit. They will be here for about a week. My Mom requested that there not be too much planned, since she's on VACATION, and would like to stay that way. The only for sure thing we have planned is going to a luau. I can't wait to spend some quality family time with the two of them. This will be the first time the family will meet Alex too, so this is going to be a lot of fun.

I have been planning their visit for months and months, it seems. The past two weekends have been spent cleaning the house and making sure it looks nice. That's just the way I am. I can't seem to help myself. I have OCD like tendencies when it comes to cleaning, so it's been an entertaining show. I have a few things left to do, and instead of doing them, I'm blogging. Ha ha. I need to finish washing the bedding, cleaning up the bathroom and the kitchen. It shouldn't be too hard, so I will enjoy my blog time for now. With all my cleaning madness, I took it upon myself to organize all my scrapbooking/crafting stuff. Oh boy. I can already tell I need more space for it all. Hopefully one day I can have my OWN ROOM with nothing but supplies. One day...

My birthday was yesterday!! I got some great goodies!!! I'm not all about getting gifts, but it was nice to get some things I've been really wanting. Alex plans to take Mom and I out for our birthdays (since they are both back to back), so that will be nice to do.
