10 Things I Love

So, I realize it is now June, and my last post was around the beginning of May. I suck at maintaining this blog, even though I absolutely love it! There has been so much going on lately that I don't even seem to find the time to breathe most days. From surviving a house fire, to moving, to starting work, it's been a whirlwind lately. I figured since my blog buddies are posting the 10 Things I Love blog, I would follow the masses and post something as well. I think it's a pretty good way to get back into my blog for the 50th time. Here goes....

10 Things I Love

1) Alex-My Babe
Our relationship started off a lot differently than anything I'm used to. Neither of us were looking for any type of relationship, nor were we expecting to fall for each other like we did. It was out of left field, and sometimes, it seems a little bizarre and scary. I know that's normal, but as I've said before, this is my first "Grown Up" relationship. It is going so well! I love him more and more each day, mostly for the little things he does for me. Like bringing my second favorite sandwich combo (Tuna Fish sandwich with Doritos....Only comes second to Grilled Cheese with Tomato Soup) to work for me. I see great things in our future and I can't wait to see what the world has in store for us.

2)My family-All Around The World
My family is divided up between a number of places. Here in Hawaii, Utah, and Missouri. I miss my family immensely. Some days it seems almost unbearable that I'm not close enough to jump in the car and drive to see them (Even an 18 hour drive is better than being across the ocean). I love each and everyone of them for everything they have done for me. I could even more sentimental about it, but we can save that for another day. Family, if you are reading this, wherever you are, I miss and love you!

3)My friends-Also MY FAMILY
My friends, who I consider my family, mean a lot to me. I was sad last week because I was missing out on Cash's first birthday. I cried. I remember getting the call when he was born and going to see him and his Mama, Sam, at the hospital. He is the best little man EVER! It sucks missing out on him growing up, but I will see him soon. I miss Ash and Craig everyday too. I will be listening to music or going through our old pictures, or just thinking about our memories and I wish they were here with me. They are remodeling their beautiful home and starting quite the adventure together. I miss their Johnny Cash, too. I know all the people close to me know how much they mean to me, and no matter what, we will always be a part of each others lives. It is what it is.

4)Mal-The Bestie Meow
I figured she could be my number 4, just like I am hers :)
Not many people know what had been going on with me the past couple years. Mal was the one person that was there when things got the hardest. She picked me up off the floor a few times (literally!). I had her back through Thayn's deployment, and we spent a year together that will always be some of the best memories I have ever had. She is my soulfriend, and without her, I would go crazy!

5)Books-I'm A Nerd
I love books. I read all the time, and I absolutely love it. Books give me the opportunity to escape reality for awhile and imagine something better.

6)Good Home Cooking
I love to cook. I love to eat. Enough said.

7)Raw Brownie Mix
I had to put this as a separate love because nothing can TOUCH my brownie mix obsession. It's always eaten in twos. Two people, two spoons. Ya dig?

8)Cuddling in Bed
I love cuddling in the comfy bed, especially when neither Alex or myself has to work. It's the best.

9)La Frontera-Yes...More Food
I had to put this...Just had to. I miss home so bad some days, and La Fron is a main reason ha ha. I crave this almost daily.

10)Love
I love..LOVE. I love loving my family, friends, and Numero Uno. I love seeing love around me. It's the best to be witness of, and best to play part in.

There's my top 10. I'm going to crawl in bed with MY LOVE now. I'll be again soon. I won't make promises, since I slack so much...But I WILL BE ON!
