As I stated on my last blog, I'm going to post some pictures. They are "blog exclusive". You only find them here! The first two pictures are of Alex's amazing concoctions for dinner.

So my last picture for this post will be of Alex himself. While he was drugged up from getting his wisdom teeth removed (please see previous blog entry about that haha) he decided to order a bunch of things off the internet. Believe me when I say he is much more of a shopaholic than I am. I stick to clothes, home interior stuff, and crafty things. He buys anything from phone covers to stickers to guitar cases to hats and clothes. The picture below is proof of his insanity.

So now on to current events in the life of Cait.
I GOT A JOB AT ROSS!
Orientation is on Monday. No, I won't be rolling in the dough, but I will be working, and it's close to home! It's about 5 minutes from base, and so easy to get to. That's such a blessing because as great as I think the bus system is (I fully support anything that helps the environment), Hawaii can be a little scary. Besides, the bus is always crowded and would end up costing me more money than gas, surprisingly. I'm not sure exactly what my schedule will be, but I'm looking forward to it. It will definitely be a change from going to office work (which has pretty much made up the past 4 years of my life) to something that is a little more physically demanding. I can't wait. Unfortunately, I have to wear some what of a uniform. Black slacks and a blue shirt. Not bad, but I think I only own two blue shirts. :( Shopping is in order, I suppose. On the plus side, I get a 20% discount which will definitely come in handy...and on top of that, Ross really works with their employees when it comes to transferring to other stores. So once I'm back on the mainland, that will be a huge help. I don't plan on staying in retail forever, but this is definitely a good start. Other than the job situation, I've been spending free time being a bum. Not even a beach bum, sad to say. Things seem to be looking up though, and that's all that matters, right? I've found out some really great news about furthering my education. And yes all, I've actually decided what I'll be going back to school for. FINALLY. I was getting really down on myself the past couple weeks because I've really been feeling like my life has, once again, come to a stand still. I felt like I wasn't doing anything or going anywhere (there is some truth in that). I mean, seriously. Alex knows what he plans to do with his life. He is choosing not to reenlist, and instead will be going to school for Recording Arts and Sciences. He plans to start an amazing career in the music business, which is totally awesome if you ask me. The majority of the people I know and love all seem to have things pretty "figured out"...as "figured out" as life can be, I suppose. I kept asking myself, "Where does that leave me?". Destined to be a tag along forever? Nope, not this one. It might take longer than expected, but I'm doing what I need to do. I figure if marriage and children are in my future, I need to grow up and get started on my LIFE. I'll quit blabbing about it. I feel strongly that most people who talk endlessly about their goals, rarely take the first step to actually achieving them.
I feel like this blog ROCKED! I'm signing off for tonight. I have much more on my mind, but my fingers are getting tired and my computer's battery likes to overheat sometimes. I'll be here tomorrow...Same time, same place.
Goodnight and Good Morning family and friends!
