The month of October is tied with November for being my favorite month. I absolutely love October. I love Fall (well, Fall back home anyway) and Halloween. October happens to be the month of my brother's birthday too! Sad to say, October has come to an end, and much too fast.

* Sent a card for my brother's birthday all the way to Missouri
* Got new scrap booking/crafting goodies
* Started (and have yet to complete) new projects
* Worked
* Cleaned my house in a somewhat OCD type manner
* Tried a couple of new recipes (And of course added them to my growing collection of "we must make this again" recipes)
* Watched The Warriors with Alex (finally!)
* Experienced deep sadness over the loss of my friend Jordan---I love you so much, friend!
* Purchased a very cute pirate costume for Halloween
* Welcomed Calee to the world!
* Went to HallowBaloo down in the art district of Honolulu for a HUGE Halloween bash
* Attended a Scentsy party at my friend Cynthia's house
* Bought my first Scentsy and fell in LOVE
* Received the movie "Practical Magic" as a gift from an awesome co-worker (Thanks Kathy!)
* Cooked dinner every night (except for one fast food run and a couple times Alex was the chef of the evening) and felt accomplished
I'm sure there's much more that happened in between, but my memory is a bit off today.
