Day 1-Introduction

I'm Caitlin, as most of you know!

I'm of crazy mind and loud mouth. I am a December baby and love everything about the winter season. I was born in Germany while my Dad was serving in the United States Army. After finishing his tour there, he PCS'ed to Dugway Proving Ground, Utah. My parents divorced when I was 3 but remained best friends. I feel like I was lucky in that way, because I never had to see them fight or feel the extreme negative impact of divorce.

I attended day care, Pre-K, Elementary School, and lastly High School in Dugway. I had the awesome experience of graduating with the same people I went to day care with. I took that for granted while I was in school, but I look back now and am grateful I had people that I was that close to and who I could still, to this day, turn to.

My Mom and Dad both remarried when I was 5 (almost 6). My mom is still married to Troy (my stepfather), 17 years later. My Mom and Troy gave me my awesome little brother, Colin. He just turned 15 on the 2nd! Crazy how much he's grown over the years...I can't seem to let go of my "baby brother". He has a deep man voice now and is a Freshman in High School. He competes in Choir and in March will be going to New York for competition. My Dad got remarried and has since divorced. Out of that marriage, I got my beautiful little sister, Sierra. She will be 15 in December (I'm lucky to have two siblings close in age!) and she's amazing. She attends a very prestigious private Catholic school and is extremely smart. She loves drama and is big on making videos for Youtube. She aspires to act when she turns 18. Watch out Hollywood! She's funny and unique, which is awesome in my eyes. I'm like a mini Mom to my siblings. I love them so much.

After graduating High School in 2006, I attended college. I unfortunately left after the 1st semester and I still kick my butt over it everyday. I sometimes feel like I'm TOO OLD to go back, but I'm going to. It will happen.

I spent my years after High School mainly in Tooele, Utah. I made new friends, had relationships (some much longer than others!) and began a "life" there. I still consider Tooele home and miss it a lot everyday.

I made a big change in my life that came as a shock, even to me. I moved to Hawaii! My love is stationed here in Hawaii and once he ETS'es from the Army, we will start our lives over (again!).

That's me in a nut shell. The short and sweet of it all.

  2. This 30 days of blogging is really really cool. :) Do you have to start in on the first day of a month or can you just start in whenever? I think I might do it. I love reading about all of your adventures Cait!
