Yes...I'm back!

I am TOTALLY a slacker. Yes, I talked myself up about how much I was going to be updating my awesome cool blog, and I have failed horribly. I'm finally doing it. Thanks in large part to Jen, Kasara, and Mal. Jen has texted or Facebook messaged me since this weekend...Bless her pregnant little self. She's good at helping push me to get it updated. Kasara is patiently waiting in Arizona for some news. Mal just updates her blog daily and makes me feel bad because I don't. Haha.

Nothing too new has been going on. I went to two interviews recently. One at the Leilehua Golf Course. It's right off of Wheeler Army Airfield. It's honestly the most beautiful golf course I have EVER seen. I think I need to go out there and just take some pictures to share. The other interview was at Ross. I LOVE ROSS. The interview at both places seemed to go well. I haven't heard back from the golf course. I was told by Ross that I just needed to wait for my background check to come back through. I called to get an update yesterday, and there's been nothing new. Hhhhmmm, I hope that doesn't mean anything bad. I worry too much. I plan to apply ALL MORNING tomorrow morning at numerous places. It's been a drag not working. I like keeping myself busy. I like supporting myself. I'm really glad that Alex has been such a huge help since I have been out here. He's the best.

Aside from the continuous job search, I have been hanging around. That about covers it...HANGING AROUND. I play Alex's Nintendo DS. He so kindly bought me two games. A wedding planning game (He knows me all too well) and a Brain Game. I also sit around with Mal and the kitties. I'm a sucker for Maggie and Izzie. I love them oh so much :) I make such a great auntie. On top of that, I have started my slow and torturous pursuit of Rock Band. Alex plays on "expert" on the drums (He can kiss my still white butt!) and plays on "hard" on bass and guitar. Pssshhhh. I WILL conquer Rock Band and be just as good...If not better. Oh yes, I said it. Bring it!!!

On another note, Alex and I have taken up cooking together. We make new and different stuff. Tonight, for the 2nd time, he is making Thai Chicken Curry. It's really spicy, but really good. The other meal he made was Chicken Adobo. That was AWESOME! I am so happy that I have a guy that can cook. You got it everyone...I'm finally in an adult relationship. Well, that's how my Momma put it anyway. :)

I was going to post some pictures of Alex's super food, but I'll get on tomorrow to do that because they aren't uploaded onto my computer just yet. Sorry that this has been a pretty uninteresting blog update, but I will be on again tomorrow, hopefully with something more interesting.
