Here's to "Numero Uno"

So here's to my very first blog. I'm finally getting around to sitting down and actually writing something on here. I have been slowly but surely updating it to make it cute, thanks in LARGE part to Jen. As great as I am with technology, I couldn't for the life of me figure out this blog stuff. I'm glad I finally did!!

As most of you know, I recently moved to Hawaii. It was somewhat of a surprise for me, and for my family and friends. It's been a great adventure, even though I miss everyone I know and love so very much. I met "a boy" a little while before I actually got out here, so it's been nice having him here to help me adjust to this new life of mine. I should be a little more honest...He's more than "a boy". More like "the boy". :) That puts a smile on my face! It's been a while since I was actually truly happy. No, everything isn't going as smoothly as I would like, but honestly? Who's life always runs smoothly? Aside from moving, nothing too new has been going on for me. Suffering through the never ending (or so it seems) job search, the boredom that sets in while everyone is at work, and adjusting to life on an island. I know...Sounds tough, right? Haha.

The most recent update on what I have been doing? Alex (the boy...Yes, I now realize I forgot to mention his name haha) had his wisdom teeth removed on Wednesday and has been drugged and in some minor pain (thanks to the previously mentioned drugs, it's only been minor). I have been making sure he takes his medicine, cooking him soup (burning my poor hand for the 2nd TIME within a week!), and making sure he rests and gets better so he can make it back to work in one piece on Monday. I also forgot to mention that Alex is serving in the U.S. Army. That's been a somewhat new lifestyle for me on top of the move. Yes, I grew up on a military installation, but my dad was out of the military before I was old enough to realize exactly what was going on with "The Army". It pretty much sucks. "The Army" stuff. Yes, I'll quit complaining about military stuff...It gets annoying, even to myself.

I think I'm going to close up my very first blog. It's a little after midnight Hawaii time. So it's 4 a.m. in Utah (Good morning to my Dad, Sister, Ash, Craig, and the rest of my family and friends out there) and 5 a.m. in Missouri (Good morning to my Mom, TroyDad, Boo, Maxie, Boomer, and all the rest of my MO family). I miss you all so much. I hope this blog helps to stay connected. Oh!!!...and for those of you with webcam..Let's IM!
